What is Botox ( registered trademark)

Botulinum toxin Type A (Botox) is a purified protein/neuromodulator that temporarily restricts muscle movement in targeted areas for non-invasive therapeutic and aesthetic treatments.
It helps to reduce the signs of aging by diminishing wrinkles as well as to decrease myofascial pain.
There is no downtime, the procedure is quick and virtually pain free with noticeable results within 3-10 days.
There are NO long term negative side-effects.
Therapeutic results ( as used for bruxism and clenching) last typically 4-6 months and cosmetic results ( for wrinkles) last 3-4 months.

Besides the well known aesthetic uses of reducing facial wrinkles, Botox can also be used in some dental specialty areas such as for TMJ pain, teeth clenching/bruxism.

What are Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable gels that add volume, fullness and contour to areas of the face.
We use a filler made of hyaluronic acid.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in our bodies.
Dermal fillers’ results are immediate and usually last 6-12 months.
The 2 most popular areas we treat are the deep furrows along the nose ( nasolabial folds) and to restore volume and definition to the lips.( lip enhancement)
Fillers can also smooth out mouth lines( smoker’s lines)

Cost of fillers are calculated per syringe.
